The SimPure uses a 4-stage integrated filter straw to clean the water that you’re going to drink. The first stage is a sediment pre-filter that suspends the visible debris and solids on the water you collected. The second stage is equipped with coconut shell activated carbon that reduces odors and improves the taste of the water.
The third stage has .1 microns hollow fibers bacteria and other parasites. The fourth and last stage has .2 microns PP cotton that intercepts the remaining particles before you drink the water.

Even though it has a great purification system, we don’t recommend that you get water that’s green or chocolate-brown colored.
The brand advertises that it can filter a liter of water in just 2 minutes, but most users mentioned that it all depends on the pushing effort that you put into it. Additionally, there are no set-ups needed in order to use this water bottle.
In terms of durability, the polypropylene material makes this a highly durable bottle. Many users have tried dropping this bottle at knee, shoulder, and head height, and it was able to survive with only minimal scratches.
What we didn’t like
Some reviews online mentioned that the lid and gasket wear off and tend to break, which is why we don’t recommend trying to drop your personal bottle just to test it out. Additionally, we noticed that the bottle has a matt finish, which improves your hand grip when you’re drinking from it.

Also, because it has a small and narrow mouth diameter, it’s quite difficult to put water inside it from strong streams. Moreover, you might have a hard time cleaning inside the bottle because you won’t be able to put anything inside it.
There’s also a taste issue with this bottle. We strongly suggest that you only put water in here because you’ll have a hard time getting rid of the aftertaste of juices, shakes, or sports drinks.
